After having an unwanted Chrome downgrade forced on me via an OS "security" update, I’ve finally decided I’ve had enough feature loses and want to move on. The latest downgrade was the forced tab grid/groups layout making tab navigation stupid hard to use. Now, not even setting the flags to disable them are respected. I tried Duck Duck Go, only to find out it uses the same basic layout as Chrome, including the tab layout. That’s when I remembered a lot of browsers are based on Chrome. So instead of trying all the things, I figured I’d ask here to narrow down potential options. The main thing I’m looking for is tab navigation that can be handled one handed, and without tab grouping. Something like the old way in Chrome with the vertical rollodex style tab layout would be fine.
