OWA problem with Chromebox

Logging in to the company Outlook Web Access (OWA) with Google Crome fails on a Samsung Chromebook with a "back button pressed" error message.
The IT guy suggested that this is due to a cookie that is "hiding" somewhere.
Tried so far:
– Browsing History and cookies cleared
– Reset Google Chrome
– Tried to log in to OWA in a "black" (incognito) Chrome window
– Tried to log in to OWA in a guest account
Unfortunately neither of these solved the problem.
I wonder if this is a known problem and what eventually can be done to cure this?
