T-Mobile – Google Messages – RCS issue

Anyone have any issues with this setup? Mine worked for 4 days until last Tuesday and since then if go to Chat in settings it just keeps asking me to verify my number…I have talked to Samsung and T-Mobile. T-Mobile called and left me a message (bad accent…at least to my southern ears 😉 so only understood 1/2 of the message). Basically it sounded like she said was not compatible with 5G unless was stand alone? Does that mean we have to wait for update to get SA…I assumed we had, and why did RCS work first 4 days? I have done all of the usual, delete app, force quit, clear data, cache..reset network settings..
