Why won’t my A11 phone send or receive Sms??

I have called my service provider , Metro, several times, and talked with each tech for about an hour each on the phone. We’ve reset apns, reset network settings to factory default, made sure my numbers were correct, we have done an entire factory reset twice and for some reason no one can help me figure out why when I’m using my LTE service, I cannot send or receive SMS or Mms essages. Nor can I make phone calls I can however receive them.. it’s not my coverage, it’s not any of the apps I’ve installed because they were deleted in the factory reset, and I only discovered today that I can send and receive texts when I’m only using 2G service. Any thoughts??
